We are a family business and have been horse trekking out here near Lake Taupo for over 5 years now. Our team is growing and they are all part of our family, both our horses and humans alike! We have some pretty strong core values, which we think are very important. Read below to see what makes up Korohe Horse Treks.
WELFARE OF OUR ANIMALS
Our animals are our babies and we give them full credit for the massive role they have played in helping make this adventure a reality, because quite frankly, we would not be here without them. Our horses are well looked after, with specialists making regular visits to ensure they are in excellent health and condition.

Making sure you get home safely is our guides number 1 concern and top priority. Our motto is:

We have a range of treks to take things from super super safe and fun, to an adrenaline packed adventure ride real quick!

We take great pride and care in our customer service just as much as in our adventures. We make sure to allow plenty of time before and after our rides, so there is no need to feel rushed or pressured while on the trail. Our treks are also small and semi-private. So sit back, enjoy and take in the amazing scenery.
