Ride through beautiful native bush before making your way down to the Waimarino River, where you’ll follow the river trails and enjoy multiple crossings through the crystal-clear water. Keep an eye out below — you might even spot trout swimming beneath your horse’s feet. It’s our most popular ride and a great way to experience Korohe.
Want to take it easy? Sweet as. Our standard Forest & River Ride is at a relaxed walking pace and is perfect for confident beginners and riders who just want to enjoy the scenery. Experienced rider looking for more? Book our Need for Speed version and experience the same Forest & River adventure with opportunities to trot and canter along the way.
